This Laser is Diode array type of Laser & is approved by FDA for permanent hair reduction. The light Sheer Laser generates Light at 810nm wavelength which targets melanin pigment which is contained in the hair follicle and shaft. The patented chill tip cooling handpiece is designed to protect the outer layer of skin by decreasing the surface temperature & preventing thermal injury form the Laser beam. The chill tip also has a slight anesthetic effect which helps to minimize the discomfort of the procedure.

  2. How does Laser work?
The Light emitted by LASER is highly concentrated & targets the pigment in the Hair. The heat build up in fraction of seconds destroys the hair follicle and thus retards and prevents future hair growth.

Microdermabrasion
  1. What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a superficial peeling of Stratum Corneum (uppermost layer of skin) reducing the thickness of Stratum Corneum or though Mechanical abrasion of the dead skin cells allowing a smoother skin to emerge, thus correcting Surface irregularities.
This Microdermabrasion is advised in uneven texture, hyper pigmentation, lines & wrinkles and sun damaged skin and the blending of scar tissue and instantly revised more glowing complexion is seen after very first treatment.

  2. Will epidermal skin abrasion reduce or prevent lines or wrinkles?
Regular exfoliation will remove dead skin cells allowing a more radiant & youthful skin. Just like physical fitness, our skin needs a exercise program to keep it young & healthy. The deep lines that tend to appear along the top lip (lipstick lines) respond very well with regular treatment.

  3. Will Skin Microdermabrasion make my skin sensitive?
Microdermabrasion will not cause skin sensitivity. However since the dead cells on the surface of the skin are removed the underlying exposed skin is tender hence direct exposure of excessive sunlight should be avoided and we advise that you should use a sunscreen while going out in the sun.

  4. Will facial scrubs provide the same results?
Facial scrubs have same chemicals in them & their efficiency is questionable also they may scratch the skin. Scrubs don't blend scars or help the smoothing of lines and wrinkles. On the other hand Microdermabrasion is a physical process which effectively removes surface deed cells uniformly & corrects irregularities.

  5. Is Skin Microdermabrasion suitable for everyone?
Yes, it suits the majority of our clients. However for the safety of our patients we do a crystal sensitivity test to rule out any sensitivity of the crystals.

  6. Is there a danger of over exfoliation of skin?
In the procedure only the surface dead cells of the skin are removed since this action is superficial & restricted to the uppermost layer of the skin. There is no danger of over exfoliation of skin.

The crystals are inert and non-toxic. Also they have disinfectant properties and will cause no harm. However Patch test can be undertaken.

  13. How many treatments will I need?
Most people require 3-6 sittings to substantially reduce pore size, smooth irregularities for even skin tone. However for maximum results the patient requires 8 to 10 treatments.

  14. What should be the gap between two skin Microdermabrasion treatment?
The gap should be minimum 10 days.

  15. Can I combine skin Microdermabrasion & glycolic peels?
Yes you can however the Doctor would be able to guide you on the course of treatment.

Yes, maintenance will definitely help you. We suggest once a month sitting of Microdermabrasion.

  18. I have good skin why should I go for Microdermabrasion?
Our skin is exposed to various pollutants that can be harmful for out skin. If care is not taken out skin look like dull and aged eventually. Microdermabrasion thought mechanical abrasion helps in removal of dead skin cells allowing smoother fresher skin to emerge.

BOTOX Wrinkle Removal
  1. What is Botox?

Botox is a very effective muscle inactivating substance. It is produced by a bacteria, but is highly refined and purified to ensure freedom from impurities and accuracy in dosing. Small quantities only are used and these will not have effects on the rest of the body. The medication works by preventing transmission of impulses between the nerve and the muscle. It is permanent, but function of the muscle does return as new nerve endings grow from the nerve to the muscle over a period of months. Botox is a trade name for diluted, purified form of the Botulism toxin, a potent muscle relaxant.

Extremely small doses of Botox are injected into a specific muscle, causing the action of only that muscle to be paralyzed. Botox is very effective in improving wrinkles due to facial expression, such as worry lines of the forehead, frown lines between the eyebrows, and crow's feet around the eyes.

  2. Who is a candidate for Botox?

Anyone who has deep frown lines in any area of their face will often respond well to this treatment, men or women. The deepest lines in the skin are often caused by muscle action. An easy way to tell if it is the muscle which is causing the problem is to contract the facial muscles around the line. If they become deeper, Botox can almost certainly be used to help reduce them. Anyone with excessively sweaty armpits or hands can benefit.

  3. Who should not be given Botox treatment ?
Botox can be used by almost anyone, however, patients who are pregnant, breast feeding or who have a neurological disease should not use Botox.
  4. How does Botox work?
Botox relaxes the muscles causing the wrinkles so they do not contract. After treatment, the overlying skin remains smooth and unwrinkled while untreated facial muscles contract in a normal facial expression.

  5. Is Botox treatment safe?
Botox injections have been used by thousands of patients over the last 15 years. Botox is produced in a controlled laboratory, and given in extremely small doses. Although it is a toxin, it is safe and there have been no serious side effects reported. Following treatment you can immediately resume full activity.
  6. Is it permanent ?
No.   On average a treatment would last about 3 or 4 months.  As a general rule to maintain the effect of Botox, three treatments would be needed each year, though some people would require more. A memory response may develop with repeated Botox injections if they are done regularly, so although the effects are not permanent, there may be a gradual lengthening of the time interval between treatments.

7. Are there any side effects ?

Very few. There are a few pinpoints from the injection sites and occasionally some bruising at the site of the injections. It is possible to cause a drooping eyelid, (ptosis) but this is very rare and temporary.

8.What restrictions are there after treatment ?

Jogging, gym workouts and saunas should be avoided on the day of the procedure. It is a good to keep your head slightly elevated on the first night after Botox.

9. When can I return to work ?

There is no restriction on working, many people have the treatment before work, at lunch or after work.

10. How long does the procedure take ?

That depends on the amount of medication used.   Botox is very expensive to produce and requires considerable expertise to get the best results.

11. Is the procedure painful?

A very tiny micro-needle is used to inject the Botox, with a small amount injected at various sites on the face.

12. When will I see results following my Botox treatment?

Results are usually seen within 4-7 days.

13. Is Botox reversible?

Normally the full effects of Botox are not recognized for several days. At this point is not usually possible to reverse Botox. If someone is unhappy with the effects of their Botox treatment, only time will reverse the effect. It is indeed rare, to find a patient who wishes that the effect of their Botox disappears. Most people, ask if there is a way to make their Botox last forever. Unfortunately, this is not possible either.

14. What is the cost ?

That depends on the amount of medication used.   Botox is very expensive to produce and requires considerable expertise to get the best results.
